We are hiring for the position of National Account Manager in the Durable Consumer Goods sector.

Location: Nationwide (Office base near Wakefield twice a week)

Travel: Regular nationwide travel + overnight stays

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager with a strong background in the indirect B2B market who is passionate about driving growth and leveraging data for informed commercial decisions. This role is ideal for a commercially focused, target-driven individual with a strong background in account management, business development, and negotiation. You will be responsible for building strategic partnerships and delivering joint business plans with a major account alongside identifying new nationwide account opportunities to convert.

The ideal candidate will excel at transforming insights into actionable strategies, possess a deep understanding of category performance, and have the ability to influence at a senior level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow an existing national account while identifying new business opportunities
  • Utilise data analysis and forecasting to enhance performance
  • Develop strong, long-term client relationships at all levels
  • Achieve sales, margin and performance targets
  • Conduct category and pricing analysis to drive profitability
  • Produce accurate sales forecasts and manage pipeline activity
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
