Our client near Stamford is expanding their team and looking for motivated individuals from a mechanical background to join a well-established, friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a stable, long-term role with training and development opportunities.
You’ll be working alongside experienced Electrical Technicians, helping build high-quality equipment from start to finish in a clean, well-organised workshop.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Basic electrical panel wiring and mechanical sub-assembly
- Assembling electrical components as part of larger machine builds
- Reading and working from electrical schematics and wiring schedules
- Supporting production to meet delivery deadlines
- Following detailed build instructions and upholding quality standards
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical background (e.g. machine building, fitting, or mechanical assembly)
- Basic electrical skills – such as wiring, reading schematics, and using electrical tools
- Confidence working from technical instructions
- Strong attention to detail and a team-first attitude
- 18th Edition qualification is a bonus (not essential)
Hours & Pay
- 38 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am – 11:30am
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Up to £13.71
- Up to £600 quarterly bonus
Overtime Rates:
- First 4 hours @ 1.33x
- Additional hours @ 1.5x
