Location: Near Stamford

Contract: Full-Time, 12-Month Temporary Contract

Pay: Up to £13.71 per hour + Quarterly Bonus (up to £600)

Hours: 38 per week

Our client near Stamford is expanding their team and looking for motivated individuals from a mechanical background to join a well-established, friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a stable, long-term role with training and development opportunities.

You’ll be working alongside experienced Electrical Technicians, helping build high-quality equipment from start to finish in a clean, well-organised workshop.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Basic electrical panel wiring and mechanical sub-assembly
  • Assembling electrical components as part of larger machine builds
  • Reading and working from electrical schematics and wiring schedules
  • Supporting production to meet delivery deadlines
  • Following detailed build instructions and upholding quality standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Mechanical background (e.g. machine building, fitting, or mechanical assembly)
  • Basic electrical skills – such as wiring, reading schematics, and using electrical tools
  • Confidence working from technical instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and a team-first attitude
  • 18th Edition qualification is a bonus (not essential)

Hours & Pay

  • 38 hours per week
  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
  • Friday: 7:30am – 11:30am
  • 30-minute unpaid lunch break
  • Up to £13.71
  • Up to £600 quarterly bonus

Overtime Rates:

  • First 4 hours @ 1.33x
  • Additional hours @ 1.5x
