Project Manager – Strategic New Product Development (£1m+ Project) 🌟 Location: On-Site West Sussex | Contract: 9–12 months We are embarking on a major new product development programme, and we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a £1m+ development project from execution through to completion. In this role, you’ll take ownership of the project plan, lead a cross‑functional team of around 12 specialists, manage risks, drive delivery, and act as the key link between stakeholders and senior leadership. Alongside project leadership (60%), you’ll also head up a small reliability team (40%) to ensure the new product meets stringent performance and lifetime targets. What you’ll be doing: 🔹 Develop and maintain detailed project schedules 🔹 Coordinate teams, suppliers and external partners 🔹 Track progress, mitigate risks, and drive corrective action 🔹 Provide clear milestone updates to senior management 🔹 Ensure quality, regulatory and technical requirements are met 🔹 Lead product reliability testing, analysis and reporting What we’re looking for: ✔ 5+ years’ experience managing complex electro‑mechanical projects ✔ Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills ✔ Engineering degree (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial) ✔ Excellent organisational skills and analytical capability If you’re a proactive, hands‑on Project Manager with a solid engineering background and a passion for delivering market‑leading products, I’d love to hear from you
