About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated Estimator / 2D CAD Engineer to join their team. This is a dynamic position that requires both technical skills and customer service ability. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate customer quotations using Lantek software (training provided).
  • Read, interpret, and import engineering drawings to produce 2D profiles using AutoCAD-style software. Drawings may also be created from sketches or physical samples.
  • Communicate with customers via phone and email, and collaborate with internal departments to resolve technical or production issues.
  • Apply a basic understanding of material types, including mild steel, stainless steel, and common grades such as S275, S355, CR4, 304, and 316.

Candidate Profile:

  • Background in engineering or experience with Lantek is advantageous but not required.
  • Ability to follow instructions, stay adaptable, and meet the demands of a fast-moving work environment.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • One-hour lunch break daily (39.5 hours per week total)
