We are recruiting an experienced Credit Controller to join a top 10 professional accountancy firm based in Derby town Centre on a 6-month contract.

This role is purely office-based. No remote or hybrid working.

  • Location: Derby DE12
  • Contract length: 6 months
  • Start: Immediate
  • Pay rate: Β£18.00 – Β£22.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
  • Working pattern: Full-time, onsite only

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the sales ledger and aged debt
  • Chasing outstanding payments by phone and email
  • Resolving invoice and payment queries
  • Cash allocation and account reconciliation
  • Liaising with partners, fee earners, and internal finance teams
  • Supporting month-end reporting and credit control processes

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in credit control / accounts receivable
  • Experience within professional services or accountancy preferred
  • Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with senior stakeholders
  • Good Excel and finance system experience
  • Able to start immediately and work onsite daily
