We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a growing and innovative technology business that provides industry-leading solutions to forecourt operators, convenience stores and EV Charging across the UK. Supporting hundereds of sites nationwide, the business specialises in integrated hardware, software, and payment technologies that help customers operate more efficiently and enhance the end-user experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with electrical, electronic, IT, EPOS, fuel systems, or field service experience who is looking to develop their career within a specialist sector. Full training will be provided, including manufacturer-specific certifications. The Role As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring customers' systems remain operational, efficient, and fully compliant. Working from home and travelling directly to customer sites, you will be responsible for the fault finding, maintenance, and repair of a variety of retail and forecourt technologies. You will collaborate closely with technical support, operations, and project teams to deliver outstanding service and resolve customer issues quickly and effectively. Key Responsibilities * Carry out reactive maintenance and fault diagnosis on fuel dispensers and associated equipment * Install, service, and commission EPOS systems, peripherals, outdoor payment terminals, and forecourt technologies * Perform preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and performance * Diagnose hardware, software, networking, and communication issues * Complete verification procedures on fuel dispensing equipment (full training provided) * Accurately maintain stock levels, tools, and vehicle inventory * Complete service reports and documentation to the highest standard * Provide professional on-site customer support and technical advice * Work safely in accordance with company and customer health and safety procedures * Participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rota About You We are keen to speak with enthusiastic candidates who have previous experience in field service engineering, technical support, maintenance, or installation environments.
