A leading company in the Fire & Security sector is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Fire & Security Service Engineer to join their growing team in Lancashire. This role involves servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding on a range of fire and security systems, including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine servicing and maintenance on fire and security systems across various sites.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation to maintain accurate service records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, advising clients on system upgrades and recommendations.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Participate in the on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support when required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in servicing and maintaining fire and security systems.
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical, fire, or security engineering (FIA, BAFE, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Full UK driving license.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with various fire and security equipment brands.
  • Knowledge of BS5839, BS6266, or other relevant standards.
