We are currently recruiting for a professional and reliable Cleaning Operative to work within a secure banking environment in Wokingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cleaner seeking part-time evening work with the opportunity to secure permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities- Carrying out general office and banking environment cleaning duties
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing
- Cleaning washrooms and staff welfare facilities
- Emptying waste and recycling bins
- Sanitising high-touch surfaces
- Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Following all health & safety procedures and site security protocols
- Opening, securing and locking premises where required
- Working independently within a secure environment
- Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work confidently as a lone worker
- Comfortable acting as a key holder and operating alarm systems
- Excellent attention to detail and reliability
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Ability to use a telephone-based time and attendance system
Due to the nature of this role within a secure banking environment, successful applicants will be required to complete the following checks prior to commencing employment:
- Basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
- Right to Work verification
- Five-year employment history verification, including explanation of any employment gaps
- Identity verification checks
- Address history verification
- Character and reference checks where applicable
- Completion of all client-specific security and compliance documentation
- Successful completion of site induction and security procedures
