School Cleaner – Annesley, NG17 9BW

Concept Resources are currently recruiting for an experienced Cleaner to work at a primary school and nursery in Annesley, NG17 9BW.

This is a temporary position providing sickness cover, starting on 2nd November 2026 and running until 23rd December 2026.

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour (PAYE)

Contract: Temporary – Sickness Cover

Start Date: 2nd November 2026

End Date: 23rd December 2026

Duties

• Cleaning classrooms, offices, toilets and nursery areas.
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors.
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washroom facilities.
• Wiping down desks, tables, surfaces and frequently touched areas.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school and nursery.
• Ensuring all designated areas are clean and ready for the school day.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
• Following site cleaning schedules and health and safety procedures.
• Using cleaning equipment and products safely and correctly.
• Completing all allocated cleaning tasks within the required shift.
• Reporting any maintenance, hygiene or safety concerns to the site supervisor.
• Following safeguarding procedures while working within a school environment.
• An Enhanced DBS check with the relevant Children's Barred List check is required for this position.
• Candidates must hold the appropriate Enhanced DBS clearance or be willing to undergo the required checks before commencing employment.
• Previous cleaning experience preferred, ideally within a school, nursery or educational environment.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of hygiene.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
