Support a Clean and Safe Learning Space
Vertas Group Limited is looking for a committed and detail-oriented Cleaner to join the team at Woodland View Primary School. This is a short-term role providing essential cleaning support across school offices and nursery areas during a period of staff shortage.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning nursery areas, staff offices, toilets, and general school facilities
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and wiping down high-contact surfaces
- Emptying bins and maintaining hygiene standards throughout
- Following cleaning rotas and site health & safety procedures
- Reporting maintenance issues or hazards to the site team
Candidate Profile
- Trustworthy, punctual, and committed to high cleaning standards
- Able to follow schedules independently with minimal supervision
- Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential
- Must be eligible to work in the UK and able to provide references
Compliance Requirements
This is a school-based role and requires:
- Enhanced DBS Check with Barred List – current or willing to apply
- CV and proof of right to work in the UK
- Proof of address and National Insurance number
- 3 years of employment or character references
- Overseas Police Check (if applicable)

- If a Non-UK resident a Share Code is needed
