Location: Collyer Place, Peckham, London, SE15 5DL
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 20 hours per week
Days: Monday to Friday
Shift: 2:30pm – 6:30pm
Start Date: 4th September 2026
Contract: Temporary Cover – 4th September to 11th September 2026
We are currently recruiting for a reliable Part-Time Cleaner to provide short-term cover at a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) site in Peckham .
This position is working 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday , providing 20 hours of work per week.
Duties
- General cleaning throughout the site
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
- Cleaning offices and communal areas
- Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
- Wiping and sanitising surfaces and touchpoints
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste
- Replenishing consumables where required
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the site
Requirements
Due to the nature of the DWP site, successful candidates will be required to complete the necessary pre-employment screening, including:
- BPSS clearance required
- Valid Right to Work documentation
- Previous cleaning experience preferred
- Comfortable lone working
- Comfortable being a key holder and operating an alarm panel where required
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be available for the full cover period
Candidates will also be required to use a telephone-based time and attendance system to clock in and out.
£12.71 per hour | Monday to Friday | 2:30pm – 6:30pm
