We are currently recruiting a Cleaner to support the facilities team at The Wherry Primary School. This short-term role ensures that children and staff can enjoy a clean, safe and welcoming environment every day. This is an ideal opportunity if you are looking for local part-time work with consistent afternoon hours during term time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas to a high standard
- Dispose of waste and empty bins responsibly
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitising surfaces
- Ensure compliance with health and safety and hygiene procedures
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
Who We Are Looking For:
- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential
- A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and follow cleaning schedules
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Must be eligible to work in the UK and able to provide references

- Enhanced DBS Check (with Barred List) must be current or be willing to obtain one
- Proof of address and right to work in the UK
- National Insurance Number
- 3 years of references (employment or character)
- Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
