We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to work at a medical unit located within Asda Newport Superstore in Duffryn, Newport. This role involves maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment to a high standard. You will work independently for 2 hours per day, six days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- General cleaning of the medical unit
- Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
- Cleaning treatment rooms, staff areas and communal areas
- Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
- Following all health and safety and infection control procedures
- Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns
Candidate Requirements
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred
- Experience cleaning healthcare or medical environments is advantageous
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Excellent attention to detail
- Available to start on 31 July 2026
- Able to work Monday to Friday and Sunday
