Hours: 12 hours per week
Days: Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temporary Cover
We are currently recruiting for a reliable Part-Time Evening Cleaner to work at a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) site in Musselburgh .
This is a part-time cleaning position working Monday to Friday , providing 12 hours of work per week.
Working Hours
- Monday: 5:00pm – 7:00pm – 2 hours
- Tuesday: 5:00pm – 7:30pm – 2.5 hours
- Wednesday: 5:00pm – 7:30pm – 2.5 hours
- Thursday: 5:00pm – 7:30pm – 2.5 hours
- Friday: 5:00pm – 7:30pm – 2.5 hours
- Total: 12 hours per week
Duties
- General cleaning throughout the site
- Cleaning offices and communal areas
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
- Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
- Wiping and sanitising surfaces and touchpoints
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste
- Replenishing consumables where required
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the building
Requirements
Due to the nature of the DWP site, successful candidates will be required to complete the necessary pre-employment screening, including:
- BPSS clearance required
- Valid Right to Work documentation
- Previous cleaning experience preferred
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable with lone working
- Comfortable acting as a key holder and operating an alarm panel where required
- Able to commit to the full Monday-to-Friday shift pattern
Candidates will also be required to use a telephone-based time and attendance system to clock in and out.
