Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:45am – 9:45am
  • Saturday: 9:00am – 10:00am

Total Hours: 6 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to work within a financial services environment in Morpeth. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity offering regular part-time hours with the potential for long-term employment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation while ensuring a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • General cleaning of office and customer-facing areas
  • Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
  • Dusting and wiping surfaces, desks and touch points
  • Cleaning kitchen and welfare facilities

  • Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Comfortable working alone and taking responsibility for site security procedures
  • Ability to act as a key holder and operate alarm systems where required
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual and professional approach
  • Right to work in the UK

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Complete a Basic DBS check
