Job Overview
Concept Resources are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumbing Maintenance Technician to work at a large commercial distribution facility in Hull.
This is a full-time, site-based maintenance position, working as part of an established facilities management team.
The successful candidate will have a strong plumbing maintenance background, experience working within commercial or industrial environments and a Legionella Awareness Level 2 qualification.
The role will involve carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and general building maintenance, with a particular focus on plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive plumbing maintenance across the site.
- Diagnose and repair faults with plumbing systems, pipework, taps, toilets, sinks and associated equipment.
- Inspect, maintain and repair hot and cold water systems.
- Support water hygiene and legionella prevention procedures.
- Carry out routine water temperature checks and flushing activities where required.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns.
- Undertake general building maintenance tasks within your skill set.
- Identify potential maintenance issues and report them to site management.
- Complete maintenance records and associated paperwork accurately.
- Work alongside other maintenance technicians and contractors to ensure the site operates efficiently.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations and site procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
