The Role

We are recruiting a reliable Cleaner to provide maternity cover at a government office site in Rusholme, Manchester. This is a lone-working role requiring a dependable and trustworthy individual. Due to the nature of maternity cover, this role offers longer-term stability compared to standard temporary assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning office areas, toilets, and communal spaces

  • Acting as a key holder and operating alarm systems where required

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check (includes Right to Work, Identity, Employment History, and Criminal Record checks)
  • Right to Work in the UK (must be presented at induction)
  • Comfortable with lone working
  • Able to use an alarm panel and follow security procedures
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Willing to use a telephone clock-in system
  • Individual PIN access allocated per candidate and updated weekly (non-transferable)
