Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Part-Time Cleaner to work at commercial office premises for a telecommunications business in Flitwick.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term, part-time cleaning position, offering a consistent Monday-to-Friday afternoon shift and the opportunity to transfer to permanent employment following a successful initial temporary assignment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the premises and must be comfortable working independently.
Key Responsibilities
- General cleaning of offices, workspaces and communal areas.
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
- Cleaning desks, counters and frequently touched surfaces.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washroom facilities.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Following site cleaning procedures and health and safety guidelines.
- Securing the premises and operating the alarm system where required.
Requirements
- Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred.
- DBS check required.
- Adverse Financial/Credit Check required.
- Two years' employment history required.
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK required.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Comfortable with lone working and key-holding responsibilities.
- Able to use a telephone-based clocking-in system.
- Good attention to detail and a professional attitude.
