Energy Manager Northampton (Hybrid Working Available) £25 per hour (Inside IR35) Full-time, temporary contract Immediate start – 7 July 2026 Working pattern Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (37 hours per week) Based at One Angel Square and Westbridge Up to 3 days per week working from home, depending on meetings and business needs.
About the role
You will be responsible for managing energy performance across a portfolio of properties, helping to reduce consumption, improve efficiency and support sustainability targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring and analysing energy usage across sites
- Identifying cost-saving and energy efficiency opportunities
- Supporting carbon reduction and sustainability initiatives
- Managing energy data, reporting and compliance
- Working with contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver improvements
- Supporting energy‑related projects across the estate
Requirements
- Previous experience in an Energy Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of energy management and compliance
- Experience working across multiple sites or estates
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
