We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to work at a large commercial site in Wynyard. This is a full-time temporary role with an immediate start.
Working hours: 40 hours per week (shift pattern to be confirmed)
About the role: You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a busy site, ensuring all systems are operating safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Responding to reactive maintenance and breakdowns
- Fault finding and repair of electrical systems
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
- Supporting general maintenance tasks where required
- Keeping accurate maintenance records
Requirements:
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
