The Role
We are recruiting a reliable cleaner to work within a secure government building in Walthamstow. This is an evening, lone-working role and requires a responsible, trustworthy individual with experience in commercial cleaning.
Key Duties
- General cleaning of offices, toilets and communal areas
- Floor, surface and touchpoint cleaning
- Locking up and securing the building where required
- Maintaining hygiene, cleanliness and safety standards
- Following strict site security procedures
Essential Requirements
- BPSS clearance is mandatory for all DWP roles
- Right to Work in the UK (must be produced at induction)
- Comfortable with lone working, key holding and alarm panels where required
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Willing to use a telephone-based time & attendance clocking system (mandatory)

- DBS Certificate (Dated within the past 2 years)
- Passport or Birth Certificate
- Proof of Address (Dated within the past 3 months)
- Proof of NI; if a Non-UK resident a Share Code is needed
- On certain sites the further checks will be required: An adverse financial credit check will need to be carried out
