About the Role

Concept Technical Resources are recruiting for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join a busy catering team based at Hanslope Park Campus. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with catering or hospitality experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with food preparation and service
  • Serving customers in a professional and friendly manner
  • Preparing hot and cold food items
  • Cleaning kitchen equipment, workstations and dining areas
  • Washing pots, crockery and utensils
  • Restocking food, drinks and consumables
  • Maintaining high food hygiene and cleanliness standards
  • Following all food safety and health & safety procedures
  • Supporting the catering team with day-to-day operations

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a catering, hospitality or food service environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good understanding of food hygiene practices
  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping
  • Valid DBS/PVG Certificate
  • Food Safety Level 2 Certificate (evidence required)
  • Food Allergen Training Certificate (evidence required)
  • Proof of Right to Work in the UK must be provided prior to starting
