Location: St Andrews Street North, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 1TT

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Hours: 8.5 hours per week

Days: Monday to Friday

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Temporary Cover

We are currently recruiting for a reliable Part-Time Evening Cleaner to work at a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) site in Bury St Edmunds .

This is a part-time position working Monday to Friday, providing 8.5 hours of regular evening work per week .

Working Hours

• Monday: 4:30pm - 6:00pm
  
• Tuesday: 4:00pm - 6:00pm
  
• Thursday: 4:00pm - 6:00pm
  
• Friday: 4:30pm - 6:00pm
  
• Total: 8.5 hours per week
  

Duties

• General cleaning throughout the site
  
• Cleaning offices and communal areas
  
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
  
• Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
  
• Wiping and sanitising surfaces and touchpoints
  
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste
  
• Replenishing consumables where required
  
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the building
  

Requirements

Requirements

Due to the nature of the DWP site, successful candidates will be required to complete the necessary pre-employment screening, including:

• BPSS clearance required
  
• Valid Right to Work documentation
  
• Previous cleaning experience preferred
  
• Reliable and punctual
  
• Comfortable with lone working
  
• Comfortable acting as a key holder and operating an alarm panel where required
  
• Able to commit to the full Monday-to-Friday shift pattern
  

Candidates will also be required to use a telephone-based time and attendance system to clock in and out.
