We are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team in Burnley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for part-time evening work, with the possibility of a longer-term position.

Working Hours

  • Monday: 5:00pm – 7:30pm (2.5 hours)
  • Tuesday: 5:00pm – 7:30pm (2.5 hours)
  • Wednesday: 5:00pm – 7:30pm (2.5 hours)
  • Thursday: 5:00pm – 7:30pm (2.5 hours)
  • Friday: 5:00pm – 7:30pm (2.5 hours)
  • Saturday: 3:00pm – 4:00pm (1 hour)

Total: 13.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

  • General cleaning of commercial premises
  • Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
  • Cleaning offices, kitchens, toilets and communal areas
  • Emptying bins and replenishing consumables
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Following all health and safety procedures
  • Locking and securing the premises where required

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
  • Reliable, trustworthy and punctual
  • Comfortable working alone
  • Able to act as a key holder and operate an alarm system
  • Right to work in the UK (documentation must be presented at induction)
  • Willing to use a telephone-based time and attendance system
