We are recruiting for a reliable Cleaner to provide temporary holiday cover at a professional banking premises in Bolton, BL1 .
The position involves lone working and key-holder responsibilities, so applicants must be dependable and comfortable working independently.
Job Description
Pay Rate: £14.26 per hour
10.75 hours per week
Temporary Holiday Cover – until 26 September 2026
Duties
- General cleaning throughout the premises
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
- Cleaning offices and communal areas
- Cleaning and sanitising washrooms
- Emptying bins and replacing liners
- Wiping and sanitising touchpoints
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Following site security and health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Adverse credit check required
- 2 years’ employment history required
- Employment history must be obtained through the GOV.UK Get Proof of Employment History service
- Valid Right to Work documentation
- Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Comfortable with lone working
- Comfortable being a key holder and using an alarm panel
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Able to use the telephone time and attendance clocking system
Working Hours
Monday: 5:00pm – 6:45pm
Tuesday: 5:00pm – 6:45pm
Thursday: 5:00pm – 6:45pm
Friday: 5:00pm – 6:45pm
Saturday: 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Total: 10.75 hours per week
Pay
£14.26 per hour
