School Cleaner – Beeston, Nottingham – £12.71 per Hour – Temporary
Concept Resources are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced School Cleaner to work at a primary school in Beeston, Nottingham, NG9 2RG.
This is a part-time temporary position covering long-term sickness absence, starting on Monday 2nd November 2026 and currently scheduled to run until Thursday 31st December 2026.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
Location: Beeston, Nottingham, NG9 2RG
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour (PAYE)
Contract: Temporary – Long-Term Sickness Cover
Start Date: Monday 2nd November 2026
End Date: Thursday 31st December 2026
DBS Requirement: Enhanced DBS with relevant Children's Barred List check
Duties
- General cleaning of classrooms, corridors and communal areas.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washroom facilities.
- Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors.
- Wiping down desks, tables, furniture and frequently touched surfaces.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Cleaning staff rooms, offices and kitchen areas.
- Replenishing toilet rolls, soap and other consumables.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school.
ResponsibilitiesPrevious commercial or school cleaning experience is preferred.An Enhanced DBS check with the relevant Children's Barred List check is required.Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules.Reliable, punctual and committed to the full assignment.Good understanding of health and safety and safe cleaning practices.Ability to maintain high cleaning standards within an educational environment.Professional, trustworthy and respectful of safeguarding procedures.
