- We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking
Warehouse Cleaning Operative to join a busy logistics and distribution facility based in Basildon.
This is a temporary to permanent opportunity offering full-time hours and the potential for long-term employment with the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out general warehouse cleaning duties
- Sweeping, mopping and maintaining warehouse floor areas
- Moving stock and pallets where required
- Cleaning office areas, meeting rooms and breakout spaces
- Cleaning kitchens, canteens and welfare facilities
- Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
- Emptying waste bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the site
- Reporting maintenance issues and health and safety concerns
- Working safely and adhering to all site procedures and PPE requirements
- Candidate Requirements
- Previous commercial, industrial or warehouse cleaning experience preferred
- Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual duties
- Excellent attention to detail
- Professional, reliable and punctual approach
- Friendly, well-presented and customer-focused manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Right to work in the UK
