We are currently recruiting for an experiencedCleaningManagerto oversee the cleaning operation at a busy Tesco site inAberystwyth.
This is a hands‑on management position, and we are lookingfor someone withprevious managerial or supervisory experience withinfacilities management, cleaning or a similar environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing the day‑to‑day cleaningoperation, ensuring the site is maintained to a high standard at all times.
Duties will include:
- Managingand supervising the on‑site cleaning team
- Allocatingdaily duties and ensuring all areas are covered
- Monitoringcleaning standards and completing site checks
- Supportingwith cleaning duties when required
- Managingstaff attendance, performance and productivity
- Ensuringcleaning equipment and materials are available and used correctly
- Maintaininghealth and safety standards
- Reportingany issues or maintenance concerns
- Liaisingwith the client and dealing with any site requirements
- Ensuringthe cleaning operation runs efficiently throughout each shift
Requirements
- Previousmanagerial or supervisory experience within facilities management isessential
- Previousexperience managing a cleaning team is highly desirable
- Strongcommunication and organisational skills
- Confidentmanaging staff and dealing with day‑to‑day issues
- Reliable,punctual and able to lead by example
- Ableto work5:00am – 11:00am, Monday to Saturday
- Availablefor animmediate start
