We are currently seeking Skilled Sewing Machinist for Heavy-Duty Materials.

This role will be Temp-to-Perm (13 Weeks Temp-to-Perm)

Working Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Salary: £11.44 per hour during temp period, with a pay rise upon permanent placement

Key Responsibilities:

– Operate walking foot machines for sewing heavy-duty materials.

– Work with plastic and other heavy-duty materials, ensuring high-quality workmanship.

– Adhere to company standards and safety protocols at all times.

Required Qualifications:

– Proven experience operating walking foot machines.

– Background in sewing heavy-duty materials or similar, such as Burberry sewers.

– Strong attention to detail and precision in work.

Desired Skills:

– Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards under tight deadlines.

– Familiarity with industrial sewing processes and techniques.

– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Break Schedule:

– 9:15 AM to 9:30 AM (15 minutes, paid)

– 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM (30 minutes, unpaid)

– 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM (15 minutes, paid)

Additional Information:

– No overtime required.

– Closed-toe shoes are mandatory; no open-toed shoes allowed.

– No need for high-visibility vests or safety boots.
