Full Time, Temporary to Permanent

Concept Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with one of the UK’s leading providers of high‑quality signage and fabrication solutions to recruit an experienced Graphic Technician. As a Graphic Technician, you will play an important role in preparing and setting up artwork for production, ensuring files are accurate and ready for print and fabrication processes. You will work closely with the production team to ensure projects run smoothly and meet our high standards of quality and precision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and set up artwork files for large‑format printing and CNC cutting.
  • Ensure artwork is correctly formatted with appropriate bleed, scale, and colour settings.
  • Convert and manage a variety of file formats for production processes.
  • Interpret briefs and technical drawings accurately.
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure files are prepared correctly and minimise errors or rework.
  • Maintain organised file structures and documentation for projects.
  • Support the graphics and production teams to ensure deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
Candidate Requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when preparing artwork.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, reactive production environment.
  • Organised and methodical approach to work, with the ability to follow briefs accurately.
  • Reliable and positive attitude with strong teamwork skills.
  • Previous experience in signage, print, or production artwork preparation is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience using 2D CAD software would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of colour management for large‑format print would be beneficial.

While this role is primarily office and studio based, you will work closely with production teams and processes. You will receive appropriate training and guidance to maintain a safe and professional working environment.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with some overtime at weekends. Weekly rotating shift: Monday to Friday 07:00‑15:30; Monday to Thursday 13:00‑22:00 and Friday 09:00-13:00.
