We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join a well-established engineering business based in Huddersfield. This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist to work with high-spec machinery in a precision engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to carry out precision machining operations
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Select, install, and set cutting tools, fixtures, and work holding equipment
- Monitor machining processes to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
- Adjust machine settings to maintain accuracy and product quality
- Inspect finished components to ensure they meet required tolerances
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining or quality issues as they arise
Mazak turning experience is preferred but not essential.
