We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join their operation in Dudley. This is a temporary-to-permanent position, with the opportunity for a permanent contract after a successful 3-month period. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and warehouse experience to take the next step in their career. Role Overview: As Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the warehouse team to drive performance, maintain stock accuracy, and ensure high standards of safety and quality at all times. You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to support day-to-day operations and contribute to the ongoing development of the team. Key Responsibilities: * Lead, coordinate, and motivate the warehouse team to achieve operational targets. * Drive efficiency through effective pallet movements, stock deployment, and utilisation. * Support the Warehouse Manager with training, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and staff development plans. * Ensure operational standards are maintained, including hygiene, stock segregation, and traceability. * Complete stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate records and reports. * Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely supply of materials and resolve any operational issues. * Promote a safe working environment and adherence to health and safety policies. * Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse. * Support the Warehouse Manager in cost control and operational reporting. About You: * Minimum of three years’ experience in a warehouse environment, with proven team leadership responsibilities. * Strong communication, coaching, and organisational skills. * A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on achieving results. * Experience with warehouse stock systems and customer stock processes. * A positive attitude, with a commitment to leading by example and promoting best practices.
