Job Summary

We are currently recruiting an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to support a large-scale warehouse clearance project based in the LS23 area. Following the acquisition of a former site, our client is carrying out a full clearance of stock, equipment and materials. This role will play a key part in the safe and efficient movement of goods throughout the site during this project. This is a hands-on, project-based role rather than a standard warehouse position, with varied duties supporting the clearance operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
  • Move stock, materials and equipment around the site as part of clearance activity
  • Load and unload vehicles in line with removal and relocation work
  • Support the staging and organisation of items for clearance
  • Assist general operatives where required to maintain workflow
  • Carry out basic warehouse duties when needed
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
  • Follow all site health & safety procedures and instructions

Requirements

  • Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent)
  • Proven experience operating a Counterbalance truck
  • Previous warehouse or industrial environment experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven clearance environment
  • Reliable, safety-conscious and able to follow instructions
  • Physically fit and willing to assist with general site duties when required
