We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shot Blaster to work with our client based in Halifax. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating shot blasting equipment to prepare surfaces for various industrial applications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities: * Operate shot blasting equipment to clean, prepare, and finish surfaces according to project specifications. * Ensure all surfaces are properly prepared for coating, painting, or other applications. * Inspect equipment regularly and perform routine maintenance as needed. * Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. * Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. * Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Requirements: * Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in manual shot blasting – working within a large blast shed * Proficiency in operating shot blasting equipment and related tools. * Knowledge of blast pots * Ability to interpret project specifications and work orders. * Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
