We are looking for an On-Site Recruitment Coordinator to be based within a busy contract packaging environment. You will be the key link between operations, workforce planning, and recruitment delivery, ensuring the site is always fully resourced to meet daily production demands.
Working closely with production and shift managers, you will play a vital role in keeping labour levels aligned to fluctuating client requirements in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This is a hands-on role where responsiveness, organisation, and communication are critical.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the on-site point of contact for all recruitment and staffing requirements
- Manage daily labour plans in line with production schedules and client demand
- Coordinate worker attendance, shift cover, and last-minute replacements
- Support onboarding, inductions, and site compliance checks
- Liaise closely with production and shift managers to forecast labour needs
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, shifts, and placements
- Manage worker communication, queries, and general on-site support
- Assist with registration, screening, and interview processes as required
- Ensure all workers meet site compliance and right-to-work requirements
- Support absence management and proactively fill gaps to minimise downtime
- Previous experience in recruitment, on-site coordination, or staffing roles (ideally within manufacturing, logistics, or contract packaging)
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to react quickly to changing demands
- Confident communicator who can build relationships at all levels
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
- Strong attention to detail and compliance awareness
- Proficient with basic systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
