Our client, a busy print manufacturing company in Normanton, is currently recruiting Production Operatives to support ongoing workload within their bindery department. This is a hands-on role working as part of a production team, with opportunities for flexible, ad-hoc shifts.

The Role

You’ll be working within the bindery, supporting the production of magazines by:

  • Loading magazine sections into binding machinery
  • Stacking finished magazines onto pallets
  • Assisting with general production duties as required

At times, you may be required to work independently, using your initiative to maintain workflow and meet production targets. This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment, so you’ll need to be comfortable multi-tasking, working safely, and adapting to different tasks.

Shift Patterns

  • 06:00 – 18:00
  • 18:00 – 06:00

Key Requirements

  • Ability to work quickly and safely to meet production targets
  • Comfortable following procedures, including scanning of work
  • Able to work as part of a team or independently when required
  • Good understanding of health & safety practices
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area
  • Willingness to assist with other duties as needed
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to use initiative
