We are recruiting MIG/TIG welders for our client based in Honley HD9. You will be required to assemble and repair components in line with engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals (e.g., steel, stainless steel, aluminium)
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
- Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces before welding
- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Carry out repairs and rework where necessary
- Maintain tools and welding equipment in good working condition
- Follow health & safety procedures, including use of PPE
- Work to production deadlines and maintain consistent output quality
- Collaborate with fabricators, engineers, and supervisors
