Responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct coding and authorisation
- 3‑way matching of invoices to purchase orders and goods received notes
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing and managing payment runs (BACS) in line with agreed schedules
- Handling supplier queries and building strong working relationships
- Supporting month‑end tasks including accruals and aged creditor reporting
- Ensuring compliance with VAT rules and internal financial controls
- Supporting the Financial Controller with holiday cover
Qualifications:
- Experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role is essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload
- Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting software
