We are recruiting for a production/assembly operative to join a thriving and growing business based in Bradford. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail is critical.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Managing start up, set, operate and shut down of the machines in accordance with established procedures
- Ability to set and read digital measuring equipment
- Check line test equipment at the beginning of every shift to ensure correct working
- Check and cross reference job specifications to materials run
- Ensure stock levels are maintained to ensure continuous running of machines
- Record machine running parameters & settings within a data logging system
- A can-do attitude, able to overcome obstacles with a team approach
- Plan for product and material changes
- Communicate with fellow team members to learn of any equipment problems or malfunctions, and take care of them as they come up
Various hours available - 37.5 hours per week. Experience working in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
