Labourer Location: Wirral / North West Salary: Up to £26,400 per year Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Concept Projects Group is looking for a proactive and motivated Labourer to join our construction project team. This is a hands-on role supporting site operations across a range of industrial, engineering, civil and fit-out projects across the North West, primarily in the Wirral area. As a Labourer, you will work alongside construction multi-trade operatives, senior builders and site supervisors to support the delivery of high-quality projects while maintaining excellent standards of health and safety. The role would suit someone who takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude and is keen to develop within a fast-paced construction environment. Key Responsibilities * Assist skilled tradespeople on site * Prepare work areas before tasks begin * Load, unload and move materials and equipment * Carry out basic demolition and strip-out works * Mix materials such as cement or adhesives when required * Keep sites clean, tidy and free from hazards * Set up and dismantle temporary structures, such as barriers and protection * Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision * Follow site health and safety procedures at all times * Wear and maintain PPE correctly * Assist with deliveries and checking materials * Remove waste and sort materials for disposal or recycling * Report hazards, defects or unsafe conditions to site supervisors Skills and Experience Required * Keen interest in a construction-based role * General maintenance skills or willingness to develop these skills * Good communication skills, as this will be a client-facing role * Ability to work to deadlines * Good organisational skills * Ability to work well as part of a team * Flexibility to travel to sites across the North West What You’ll Receive * National Minimum Wage * Full-time contract * 23 days holiday plus bank holidays * Increased holiday entitlement to 25 days following successful completion of probation * Company pension * Private healthcare plan, eligible after probation period * Regular training and development opportunities * Inclusive employee benefits, including gym membership to support your wellbeing Apply now to join Concept Projects Group and develop your career within a practical, hands-on construction role
