Are you looking for flexible part time work to fit around other commitments or school hours? Do you have a track record of delivering training or learning sessions, either virtually or in person, to small or medium size groups of young people or adults and want to utilise those skills? This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with Worktree, an employability charity based in Milton Keynes. Our facilitators deliver employability skills training to students in primary and secondary schools virtually all over the UK and in person in Milton Keynes, and due to continued growth, we are looking for 2-3 people to join our team as Facilitators. We can offer virtual work to local and remote applicants, but you will need to be based in Milton Keynes or surrounding areas to deliver the face-to-face sessions. An interest in building careers knowledge in young people is required. If you have an outgoing personality and excellent communication skills with the ability to think on your feet, then this could be the ideal role for you. You must be 100% reliable, with great time management and proficiency in PowerPoint and MS Teams. Online facilitators will be delivering planned sessions over MS Teams and therefore you will need access to a laptop and have a good, reliable internet connection, as you will be based from home. It will need to be a private room you deliver from as opposed to a shared working environment or café space due to safeguarding. You will be facilitating regular Career WorkOut sessions for approximately 5- 10 hours during the school week for this academic year (full training provided). Additional delivery sessions may be available and cover of sessions on other days will be needed from time to time. You will be required to attend online team meetings (paid) on an ad-hoc basis. Each session delivered is paid at £20 when undergoing training and £25 when can delivering independently. This is a self-employed position so you will be responsible for your own tax and NI contributions and would invoice Worktree at the end of each month. All applicants invited to interview/offered a role will undergo a compulsory DBS check. If you feel this opportunity is a good fit for you and are interested in joining our team, please apply now – we look forward to hearing from you
