Senior Motion Designer

We are currently seeking a Senior Motion Designer to work with our public sector client.

Contract Duration: 6 months

Compensation: Excellent day rate inside IR35

Location: Preference for Bristol or London, with potential for Manchester for the right candidate. Team meet-ups in the office once a week every few weeks.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidates will have a proven Motion/Graphic Designer background with public sector experience.

Skills:

1. Ideally, a graphic design background.
2. Experience with static and dynamic motion graphics.
3. Creating motion graphics for brands and rebranding.
4. Visual storytelling, able to tell a story about a brand through motion.
5. Government knowledge is ideal, with understanding of existing design language.
6. Excellent presenting skills, confident presenting to senior stakeholders, including C-Suite.
7. 5+ years of professional experience (agency or in-house) in motion design, with a graphic design background and a portfolio showcasing strong creative and technical abilities across various media formats.
8. Experience creating static and motion graphics for a multichannel organization, including social media, video/YouTube, mobile apps, and websites that coherently express the brand across all channels.
9. Expertise in creating dynamic motion graphics, including animation, kinetic typography, particle effects, and visual storytelling through motion.
10. Proficiency in prototyping in motion, using tools like Principle, Figma, or similar.
11. Advanced proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Suite (particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Adobe Animate, and Illustrator). Experience with Red Giant and Cinema 4D or equivalent is an added bonus.
12. Strong experience with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, particularly for integrating motion graphics with live-action footage.
