Job Opportunity: Network Engineer (Smart Hands) – Contract Role
Location: Stirling, Scotland
Rate: £negotiable dependent on experience
TXP is currently recruiting for an experienced Network Engineer (Smart Hands) to support a critical on-site installation project for one of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install a Sophos firewall and 2 x Sophos switches into a rack
* Patch WAN/LAN connections and liaise with a remote Argon engineer to test internet connectivity
* Patch switches and patch panels as directed
* Test and verify staff and guest Wi-Fi functionality
* Ensure VOIP phones are operational
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in hands-on network installations
* Familiarity with Sophos hardware (firewalls and switches)
* Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and follow remote instructions
