As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an Air Hygiene & Fire Damper Engineer to join our specialist delivery team. What you will do:

  • Deliver specialist air hygiene services including ventilation cleaning (TR19), fire damper testing, air quality assessments, and remedial works across a range of client sites.
  • Carry out inspections, servicing, analytical surveys, and testing activities in line with industry standards, regulations, and company procedures.
  • Complete accurate reports, documentation, and electronic records within agreed timescales.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work.
  • Safely operate equipment, PPE, chemicals, and access systems, including working at height where required.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, delivering excellent customer service at all times.
  • Support operational requirements through a flexible approach to working hours, including overtime, weekend work, shift patterns, and occasional overnight stays.

Who you are:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience within the Air Hygiene and Fire Damper industry, with a strong understanding of industry best practices and standards.
  • Proven experience carrying out inspections, servicing, testing, and remedial works within commercial and/or domestic environments.
  • Knowledge of fire damper testing and air hygiene services, including relevant legislation, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with industry guidance and standards such as BS 9999, RRFSO 2005, TR19, BESA, AHO/AHT, and NAADUK.
  • Competent in using computers, PDAs, and Microsoft Office applications to complete reports and documentation accurately.
  • Self‑motivated with excellent attention to detail, a strong commitment to health and safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points, flexibility to travel, and willingness to stay away overnight when required.
