Finance Director / CFO

The Opportunity:\\n\\nWe’re hiring on behalf of a highly respected UK investment firm with a growing group of entrepreneur-led businesses in the professional and people-based services space.\\n\\nAs Group CFO/FD, you’ll work directly with the founders and investors to drive financial leadership across the platform, supporting individual portfolio companies through exit readiness, value creation, and long-term strategic planning.\\n\\nThis is a key role for a commercially minded finance leader who has hands-on experience preparing companies for private equity exits, and wants to operate across multiple high-potential businesses.\\n\\nWhat You’ll Do:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Act as the Group-level finance lead across a growing portfolio of people-focused service businesses\\n\\n * \\n\\n Support individual portfolio company CFOs and founders on:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Exit readiness and financial structuring\\n\\n * \\n\\n Reporting and KPI alignment\\n\\n * \\n\\n Investor-facing materials and diligence processes\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strengthen finance infrastructure at HoldCo level, including reporting consolidation and board pack oversight\\n\\n * \\n\\n Advise on M&A opportunities, platform integration, and growth-stage planning\\n\\n * \\n\\n Serve as a trusted commercial partner to both founders and investors\\n\\nWhat You’ll Bring:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Proven experience as CFO or Group FD in a multi-entity environment (bonus: professional services / people-based sectors)\\n\\n * \\n\\n Private equity exit exposure at portfolio level (ideally more than one transaction)\\n\\n * \\n\\n Able to operate across strategic and operational finance: from investor reporting to hands-on controls\\n\\n * \\n\\n ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent\\n\\n * \\n\\n Comfortable in fast-paced, founder-led businesses with lean teams\\n\\nWhy This Role?\\n\\n * \\n\\n Work directly with investors, founders, and board members\\n\\n * \\n\\n Lead financial performance across multiple high-growth companies\\n\\n * \\n\\n Opportunity to influence value creation and exit outcomes across the group
