As a Live-In Carer, you’ll stay in the client’s home for an agreed rotation period (e.g., 1–2 weeks on, followed by time off), supporting them with their day-to-day needs. Your care will be person-centred, focused on dignity, comfort, and independence. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys building long-term connections with the people they care for.
Duties
- Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Supporting with meal preparation and medication administration
- Help with mobility, routines, and daily activities
- Light housework to maintain a safe, comfortable home
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Work closely with family and healthcare professionals to adapt the care plan
