We are currently looking to hire a Residential Security Officer (SO) to join our team in Kensington, London.
*Must live within daily commuting distance of Kensington, London (No accommodation supplied.) Parking onsite
*This position requires working day and night shifts on a Four On then Four Off rotation (Over-time Available) as part of a larger security team ata High Net Worth Residential property.
JOB DESCRIPTION
It is paramount that the following duties and responsibilities are carried out by the Residential Security Officer (SO) in accordance with the task and client requirements. All company policies and procedures must be adhered to at all times to ensure that operational and regulatory safety requirements are met.
- The position requires that the SO remains awake and alert for the duration of his/her shift and that he/she is able to provide any immediate response as and when necessary whilst on duty.
- The SO must ensure that all company and client expectations are met on a daily basis.
- The SO will report directly to his/her appointed Line Manager.
- We have a clearly defined operational and administrative chain of command. The chain of command exists to facilitate both the SO and the client’s needs in the most effective manner
possible.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform your daily duties to the highest professional standards
- Maintain awareness of future planning requirements
- React quickly and professionally to all emergencies and incidents
- Ensure that all client operations are managed/conducted in accordance with SOPs
- Ensure that any deviations from the SOPs are immediately documented and reported to theoperations centre
- Ensure that all Incidents are documented and GRC is updated
- Provide an accurate and timely written report in the event of an incident
- Assist with implementing any changes at the premises as directed by the management team
- Ensure your SIA Licence remains up to date and does not lapse

DUTIES
- Provide a constant security presence throughout the shift period
- Arrive punctually and correctly dressed at the appointed place of duty
- On a daily basis, you will report to the GRC
- You are not to leave your appointed place of duty, except on normal shift changeover,without authorisation from the GRC or line manager
- Provide and monitor all access and egress onto and away from the property
- Monitor and react to situations highlighted by the CCTV
- Record the issue and return of property keys and security fobs
- Monitor and record all contractors working at the premises
- Maintain an accurate record of all contractors or visitors attending/leaving the property
- Monitor and record all deliveries to the premises
- Discretely monitor the clients when in residence, ensuring they have a safe environment
- Ensure the safety of the clients at all times
- Answer and deal with all telephone enquiries if part of the task role
- Conduct and document all patrols as stipulated within the appointed premises StandardOperating Procedures (SOPs)
- Make and receive all “check calls” as directed
- Send a daily report after completion of the day shift
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Staff must be of a physical standard to be able to:
- Patrol premises on a regular basis
- Be able to assist the client if injured or needs evacuating
- Walk and deal with dogs
- Assist with heavy deliveries
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship.
- Must live within daily commuting distance of Kensington, London (No accommodation
supplied) Parking onsite - 2 years plus security experience
- Minimum first aid at work qualification
- Driving licence
