Job Description
As part of Concentric Group’s Global Assistance arm, SPS Global provides integrated security, medical, and crisis‑response solutions worldwide. The Intelligence Analyst will assess risks that could affect clients’ global operations and deliver actionable insights that inform strategic security decisions.
Responsibilities
- Collect data using standard and atypical intelligence methods, including in‑person interviews, and monitor surface, deep, and dark web sources and media channels for potential and known threats.
- Define client deliverables and develop methodologies, tools, and products to capture and report on critical intelligence requirements.
- Lead development of new intelligence products tailored to client needs and support business and security continuity.
- Leverage the latest tools and technology to conduct cutting‑edge research; act as a technology expert and maximize the utility of technological tools.
- Stay abreast of international and domestic threat trends related to client interests and benchmark best practices with external organizations.
- Continuously seek innovative and creative approaches to intelligence analysis, delivering exceptional support while maintaining efficiency and exceeding expectations.
- Conduct research and generate reports on international locations that clients may visit, covering crime, safety, political stability, travel safety, local customs, courtesies, and transportation best practices.
- Monitor international locations currently visited by clients and assess whether incidents or trends increase operational risk.
- Provide analysis and research on risks associated with security, infrastructure, technology, government, environment, reputation, or other factors; offer mitigation recommendations.
- Manage project timelines on long‑term engagements and coordinate team efforts to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with investigators to identify, assess, and address persons of interest or other threats discovered during research.
- Develop presentations and brief findings to clients with meticulous attention to detail.
- Offer security and risk advice to clients covering digital footprints, security best practices, and related topics on an ad‑hoc basis.
- Translate client needs into actionable intelligence products, building strong relationships and identifying potential new clients.
- Serve as an entry point for clients within the broader company and collaborate with other SPS Global teams to address client risks comprehensively.
- Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives that integrate risk advisory service delivery across the security spectrum.
- Present a professional and dependable face to clients, consistent with SPS Global’s brand in all communications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in political science, international affairs, international economics, regional studies, business, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in intelligence or risk analysis.
- Excellent writing and analytical skills.
- Reliable, conscientious teammate with strong communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience with the intelligence cycle, including defining requirements and establishing collection structures.
- Experience leveraging open‑source intelligence tools and techniques to collect information and extract actionable intelligence.
- Experience briefing stakeholders to support business decisions.
- Proven ability to adapt to changing information and needs in a client‑driven, entrepreneurial setting.
- Up to 15% travel required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in private‑sector consulting, advisory, or high‑tech companies.
- Experience living and working in a foreign country.
- Experience managing projects to results.
