Concentric is a risk consultancy delivering strategic security and intelligence services worldwide. We are seeking a non-clinical, commercially focused leader to align SPS’s medical assistance services with sales, insurance, and client requirements. The role acts as the strategic interface between Medical Operations, Sales, and Insurance partners, ensuring medical products, service levels, and contractual commitments are commercially viable, operationally deliverable, and margin-protected. All clinical oversight and medical decision-making remain with Medical Operations and treating clinicians.
Responsibilities focus on strategic and commercial leadership, product governance, SLA and contract governance, and ongoing improvement of medical services within a commercial context. The role will own commercial, contractual, client, and product governance for medical assistance services and support revenue planning, pricing strategy, and margin management.
- Strategic & Commercial Leadership
- Act as the primary commercial and strategic link between Medical Operations and Sales teams, Insurance carriers/underwriters, and enterprise clients/broker partners.
- Shape and own the commercial positioning of SPS medical assistance offerings, including product tiers, scope, and value proposition.
- Ensure medical services align with broader business strategy, growth objectives, and insurance market requirements.
- Full ownership of commercial, contractual, clients, and product governance for medical assistance services.
- Own medical service SLAs from a commercial, contractual, and performance perspective (not clinical delivery), ensuring they are clearly defined, contractually aligned, and operationally achievable and financially sustainable.
- Maintain and govern rate cards, pricing structures, service descriptions, and scope documents.
- Ensure consistency across client contracts, policy wordings, and sales materials.
- Act as the senior commercial medical lead for medical-led or medical-heavy accounts.
- Support and lead engagement with underwriters, brokers, and enterprise clients.
- Lead or support due diligence processes, capability reviews, audits, and service performance discussions.
- Support sales proposals, tenders, and RFP responses involving medical assistance services.
- Provide clear explanations of medical service structures to insurers and clients; ensure sales commitments align with operational capability and cost assumptions.
- Own medical service margin, working closely with Finance and Operations.
- Support revenue planning, forecasting, and pricing strategy for medical assistance services.
- Identify and mitigate cost leakage, margin erosion, and commercial risk from misaligned contracts or SLAs.
- Establish structured feedback between Medical Operations, Sales, and Insurance Partners.
- Translate operational insight into improved product design, refined pricing and SLAs, and stronger commercial decision-making.
- Oversee reporting quality for medical-led accounts from a commercial and contractual perspective.
- Ensure compliance with client contracts, insurer requirements, and internal governance standards.
Authority & Scope
- No clinical authority or medical decision-making responsibility.
- No patient care or medical governance accountability.
- Full ownership of commercial, contractual, and product governance for medical assistance services.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in medical services management, healthcare operations, or insurance-linked assistance programs.
- Proven ability to collaborate across operations, sales, and external partner organizations to drive service excellence.
- Demonstrated experience managing SLA-driven service delivery and performance metrics; operations within insurance or regulated healthcare environments; and P&L responsibility and margin optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience with insurance underwriters and brokers; global assistance or emergency response organizations; NHS senior operational roles; ISO-aligned or governance-driven environments.
- Commercially astute with strong financial awareness; ability to translate operational delivery into commercial structures; detail-oriented with contractual discipline.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-risk, global environments.
