Principal People's Environment & Sustainability & ESG business unit are supporting one of the world's leading project development and construction businesses who are looking for an Environmental and Sustainability Advisor to join their Infrastructure team on major programmes around the North of England. This role will see you working within a growing environmental team, ensuring compliance and driving ambitious sustainability targets. This is an opportunity to be part of a critical infrastructure upgrade, improving the quality of life of millions of Britons.

The Role:- Environmental Sustainability Advisor
- Site activity based in Penrith, Cumbria, with some flexibility for remote work
- Supporting a £60m infrastructure project
- Providing environmental compliance advice to design, construction, procurement, and subcontractor teams
- Conducting internal and external environmental audits and inspections, including suppliers and waste contractors
- Delivering environmental and sustainability training for project staff
The Person:
- Degree in Environmental or a relevant discipline (ideal)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the construction industry or similar sector
- Practitioner Membership with IEMA or similar (or working towards)
- Full driving licence
- Ability to work on-site in Penrith as required
